To encourage you to start saving as early as possible for the education of your children or grandchildren, the gouvernement du Québec has implemented the Québec education savings incentive (QESI) tax measure.
The incentive consists of a refundable tax credit that is paid directly into a registered education savings plan (RESP) opened with a financial institution or with another RESP provider that offers the incentive.
